Daren Smith – Managing Director
Daren joined Fisadco as a sixteen year old apprentice and has worked in all areas of the company from design through to all aspects of machining and fabrication. He was appointed managing director at the age of 25 and has been directly responsible for growing the company to the current headcount of 30+ enjoying the daily challenge of running a busy company. He is married with 4 children and when not spending time with them also likes to do a little fishing and "tinkering with anything mechanical."
Tony Senior – Production Manager
Tony has been with Fisadco for many years and is responsible for all production output, meeting the demands set him by his customers. He holds the belief that the “customer is still king” and goes that extra mile to ensure those customers’ demands are met. He is also a family man and likes to spend his spare time with his family but also finding time to run the local Cub Scout pack, listening to music and making his own by playing the saxophone.
Les Allen – Materials Procurement
Les has worked for Fisadco for a number of years and heads up the material procurement. He has a disciplined approach to his work enjoying the rapport with suppliers and customers understanding both of their needs. Whilst his work is important to him he believes it important to spend time with his family and lists his major interest as being with them. He does however, also like to sail and extend his interest in motorcycles.
Wendy Wrangham – Financial Manager
Although Wendy is fairly new to the business, she has already grown in her role looking after the company financials by extending it to personal assistant to the managing director and helping develop/operate the company’s Kanban system. She describes herself as energetic with an eye for detail and helps to ensure everything is done when it should be! When not at work Wendy enjoys her sports car, gardening and overseas holidays with her husband.
Sarah Edmond – Admin Support
Sarah joined Fisadco a number of years ago, soon becoming an important member of the team. She was primarily employed in a support role for her colleagues, soon learning the many aspects of the business. Over the years she has developed her skills and now is responsible for the day to day accounts and wages and has recently taken over the invoicing and works with Wendy on the customer Kanban system. Sarah is married with a daughter and lists her hobbies as her family, Rugby League, as well as her local gym.
